Abstract

We keep on searching for answers to the dilemmas faced by entrepreneurs as a result of adverse events, often unpredictable and uncontrollable, such as attacks, epidemics, pandemics, and natural disasters, environmental or geological, all responsible for driving crisis situations.

 

IJESB - Iberoamerican Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business (REGEPE - Revista de Empreendedorismo e Gestão de Pequenas Empresas), is always attentive in updating its readers with reflections of the moment and having as inspiration a recent call from the Journal "Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice", in which they encourage the submission of papers that contribute to the understanding of different entrepreneurial responses to catastrophic events and crisis situations brings, from the suggestions of this call and the previous literature indicated, some insights into scenarios with epidemic and catastrophic events, as in the current context generated by the COVID-19 pandemic, given the impact caused on entrepreneurial business and the need for entrepreneurial responses to cope with
