O empreendedorismo é uma área emergente de pesquisa? Uma resposta computacional

Resumo

Objetivo: O nosso objetivo é responder a quatro questões: primeira, com o número crescente de publicações sobre empreendedorismo, existe uma concentração em temas específicos ou, pelo contrário, uma dispersão, ampliando os temas relacionados ao empreendedorismo? Segunda, existe uma hierarquia de temas, no sentido de que alguns deles constituem o "núcleo" do empreendedorismo? Em terceiro lugar, estão estes temas ligados a outras áreas de investigação estabelecidas? Finalmente, é possível identificar trabalhos que sejam influentes, atuando como núcleos na formação do clusters? Método: O método é o desenvolvimento de uma versão original do procedimento computacional proposto por Shibata et al (2008), o que nos permite compreender a diversidade das diferentes subáreas do tema investigado, e ainda reduzindo a necessidade de supervisão por especialista no campo de pesquisa investigado. Originalidade e relevância: Desenvolvemos e aplicamos um método para captar a formação e evolução das áreas de investigação em empreendedorismo, através de redes de citação direta, permitindo-nos compreender a iteração entre as diferentes subáreas de pesquisa. Resultados: A dispersão é uma característica da constituição do empreendedorismo como campo de pesquisa, com uma hierarquia entre áreas de pesquisa, o que significa uma organização emergente nos processos de expansão. Concluímos que a pesquisa sobre empreendedorismo é formada por especialização, ou seja, por uma aplicação em nichos.

Roney Fraga Souza, Faculdade de Economia, Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT), Cuiabá, MT, Brasil

concluiu seu doutorado em desenvolvimento econômico pela Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP) em 2016. Atualmente é professor de economia na Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. A prospecção tecnológica e o mapeamento científico são dois de seus interesses de pesquisa.

Rosangela Ballini, Instituto de Economia da Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, SP, Brasil

possui graduação em Matemática pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (1994), mestrado em Ciências, área de concentração Ciências da Computação e Matemática Computacional, pela Universidade de São Paulo (1996) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica, área de concentração Automação, pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2000). Atualmente é Professora Associada no Instituto de Economia da Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Tem interesse em Métodos e Modelos Matemáticos e Econométricos, particularmente nos tópicos: análise e previsão de séries temporais, sistemas fuzzy, redes neurais, redes neuro-fuzzy, modelos dinâmicos, modelos de simulação.

José Maria Ferreira Jardim Silveira, Instituto de Economia da Universidade de Campinas (UNICAMP), Campinas, SP, Brasil

é engenheiro agrônomo, com mestrado e doutorado em economia. Atualmente é professor titular do Instituto de Economia, UNICAMP, e vice-diretor do Centro Interdisciplinar de Pesquisa Energética, UNICAMP. Ele é membro do Conselho do Consórcio Internacional de Pesquisa em Bioeconomia Aplicada (ICABR) desde 2012 e membro do Conselho de Administração da Sociedade Schumpeteriana Internacional (ISS). Ele tem publicado artigos nas áreas de cientometria, organização industrial e economia da inovação, utilizando metodologias baseadas em análise de rede e modelagem de simulação (ABM), com quase 100 artigos publicados.

Aurora Amélia Castro Teixeira, Faculdade de Economia da Universidade do Porto (FEP), Porto, Portugal

é professora titular da Universidade do Porto, Portugal, onde detém as cátedras de Macroeconomia e Gestão da Inovação. É Vice-Presidente do Conselho Científico da FEP, da Faculdade de Economia e Gestão da Universidade do Porto e membro do Conselho Geral da Universidade do Porto. Ela recebeu seu Ph.D. da SPRU - Science Policy Research Unit (University of Sussex, UK), e foi bolsista visitante no IC2, Texas Austin University (EUA) e Bocconi University (Itália). Ela é membro do conselho editorial do Journal of Academic Ethics (Springer).
